  My  father's  words  - poem

My father used to say it every time,

Time is money, money is time,

But I thought I had a lot of time,

So I ignored these lines.

My father used to say it every time,

Time is money, money is time,

I used to sleep till late morning,

My father got angry with me in the morning.

My father used to say it every time,

Time is money, money is time,

When I didn’t finish any work on time,

My father would get angry at that time.

My father repeated this line,

Time is money, money is time,

When my father was no more in this world,

When I failed again in life, I remembered his words.

Then I realized that I don’t have much time,

My father used to say it every time,

Time is money, money is time.
